Flightradar24 Findings [Part 5]

KAVL Asheville Regional Airport turned into a makeshift disaster relief hub for those helping (including the US Air Force) with disaster relief from the devastation that Hurricane Helene brought to the area. Here are two aircraft that I found out and about from the airport.

Welcome back :)

The airports in Kyiv are actually being maintained regularly to allow for a quick possible restart of flight operations. They remain largely intact. However, the runways have been blocked by fuel tankers to prevent the Russian Air Force to land there in the early days of the invasion.

Interesting flight path. I guess it saves time rather than dipping down under Jordan and going back up towards the UAE from there. Mainly EK flights to Russia fly over Russia (obviously), normally European flights to Dubai fly over Iran but now over the Mediterranean and that new air corridor over Egypt and under Jordan.
