American 1006 diverted to Denver en route from Colorado Springs to Dallas. Upon landing, one of the engines caught fire, forcing passengers to evacuate at the gate.

On this episode of oddities of the north east
Due to the busy nature of our area, some planes end up exactly on top of each other. In this instance, they’re both on the same ifr route (Q97 I believe)… they’re both coming from the same general direction… and they’re both headed to the same airport. Just given different altitudes.

This 747 diverted all the way down to Miami from Atlanta due to the weather. I had the distinct privilege of spotting it as it taxied at MIA.
