Over 100,000 people are tracking other aircraft around that airspace too.
Looong way for a 737. This might be the longest flight I’ve seen TUI Airlines Belgium do with a MAX (excluding a delivery flight, which I assume is longer).
This afternoon, the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport was closed down due to a FLY540 aircraft being unable to vacate the runway.
Flights have been diverted to Mombasa (MBA), a coastal city of Kenya, Entebbe (EBB), the biggest airport in Uganda and Dar Es Salaam (DAR).
As the issue is now resolved, flights have resumed their flights to the Kenyan Capital City.
As you can see on the left side of the screenshot, all flights inbound were diverted. On the bottom right corner we can see some aircraft that were diverted to Mombasa (MBA).
