FlightRadar24 Findings | Part 2

New United livery, on an American CRJ, with an United flight number?

Looking at the plane’s history, it seems to have flown for PSA doing American Eagle flights up to last September, then switched over to SkyWest and began flying United flights. Probably just an error on FR24 that it still shows American, because that’s definitely a UA flight

Umknown B733 landed at Tunis.

Appears to have diverted for some reason. Instead of North Bend, it is landing in Eugene.

I thought it was another coronavirus thing, but doesn’t LAX also take China flights?

A few weeks ago I found a Minions themed JAL plane

Yes, it’s a coronavirus thing. It’s a new stopover route due to Chinese flight restrictions. Operates as PEK-LAX-SFO-LAX-PEK. Just like the PEK-JFK-IAD-JFK-PEK route now. Previously, they each had their own PEK-LAX, PEK-SFO, PEK-IAD, PEK-JFK flights but they cut those and turned them into stopovers.
