[FlightRadar] “Spotting” Question

Just curious if anyone may have an answer. I feel like a comparison to the U-2 would purposefully turn on their transponder around the DMZ because they’re like ‘Hey! We are here btw.” Though, regarding this CN-235 would there be a reason that it most likely only occasionally are identified over certain areas on radars. Is it just radar capabilities or certain airspaces?

[“Random” site note: obviously the CN-235 is supposedly special forces, so (again) definitely makes sense that it may not show up on FR versus Ads-B.]

It all depends on the transponder and radar capabilities, yes. Hence why some aircraft show up perfectly identifying on ADSB while not pinging on FlightRadar24 at all.

By the way, that CN-235 doesn’t actually exist. You’re imagining it.
