Quick question, ok so tomorrow I’m hoping on doing KEWR-WSSS and I was wondering for those who have done it, what was your flight time?
It really depends on your speed, and because if variable winds I’m sure there could easily a be a one hour difference, but I failed trying to fly it so I don’t know
I’ve done it once, my flight time was 18 hours 25 minutes due to having a headwind during descent.
Mine was 19 hr 32 mins I had a 82 knot headwind
19 hours but I did a custom route that added a extra 30 minutes or so but 19 hours it was
Dang. So either way you get a headwind? And what plane did you Use?
I did it in 18:32. Use the 787-9
What airline?
I did it in the united livery
Ah ok. I was going to use Singapore on the 78710 but the range is kinda bad.
I used a Singapore a380
I got a 20 hour flight dang trade winds
That’s tuff
Ikr so annoying
I got there in 17 hours 34 Mins 😎
I arrived in 17h 45m
At one point winds were so good I did it in 17hrs 10 min.
It’s all about timing and plan.
I think mine was 17 hours. Flight time would approximately be from 17-20 hours (I think)
Flight time is around 18 depending on direction. I used SQ B78X. Only carry like 100 passengers.
Also I use flaps 5 in cruise (this is a 787 specific thing) but I don’t think you have to to make it.
Make use of fpltoif.com to give you the flight plan in a format that you can copy direct into Infinite flight. It will also give you your flight time ( very accurate if you follow the plan) fuel needed, speed to fly at, and importantly when to do the step climbs!
