Flight time in global

So I just finished a flight from Los Angeles to Tokyo and the flight time was supposed to be around 12 hours so I loaded about 13h30 of fuel and the actual flight time ended up being about 9h30 and I have about 5 hours of fuel left. This happens a lot to me, does anyone know why flight are a lot quicker in IF.

FR24 states its around 11 hours from LAX - Tokyo. It can vary quite a bit depending on the location and strength of the North Pacific jet stream.

Did you use AutoPilot+. If yes, your groundspeed would’ve stayed constant rather than reacting to the winds, which can mean a flight takes significantly longer/shorter than expected.
