While descending to Jakarta (WIII) after a medium-haul flight from Hong Kong (VHHH), I noticed a discrepancy in the total flight time shown on the menu bar. Once parked at the gate, the menu bar displayed a total flight time of 3 hours and 27 minutes.
However, based on my actual flight timeline, this should not be correct. I departed at 2:24 UTC, engaged Autopilot+ (AP+) after reaching cruising altitude, and returned to the flight about 33 minutes before ETA, landing at 6:41 UTC. This means the total flight duration should have been approximately 4 hours and 17 minutes. I’ve attached the relevant timestamps showing both departure and arrival times for reference.
However, between the departure and arrival time, I performed two actions that might have contributed to this issue:
- After engaging AP+, I conducted three short flights on my account while the main flight continued running in the background.
- Between those short flights, I occasionally returned to the main flight to adjust speed and perform step climbs.
