Whenever I fly I always track my flight time but it’s never always accurate for example a flight from EGLL-OMDB is typically 6h30m for me but when I go back to my flight to descend and approach after leaving it on AP+ it sometimes appears that the flight time was like 3 hours.
This happens very frequently especially when at some point of the flight I go back to the progress to climb higher altitudes after getting lighter.
I (accidentally) reverted my 12 hour flight last night after landing. The app crashed after I taxied off of the runway - when I loaded back up, I was 36 minutes ETA from destination. So, I landed again, taxied to the gate, and ended my flight.
My entire 12-hour flight was only counted as those 36 minutes of flight time in the logbook.
if you’re using AP+ the flight time sometimes doesn’t record properly or gets wonky until the next update rolls out, so your timer can look way shorter than what you actually flew. Been a pain for a lot of folks here, but from what I’ve seen the devs are already addressing it so hopefully it’ll be more consistent soon.
Either you’re using the beta or the regular version. They have separate apps. That’s why I asked. There are known issues in both version, but the issues in 25.1 are getting fixed in the beta. A fix should have been supplied a couple of days ago, and I believe that got rid of the issue you were talking about
