Flight status, new icons and more - now available on LiveFlight Tracker!

I’ve just released the latest version of LiveFlight Tracker (that’s my web-based Infinite Flight Live tracker). It’s been in the works for a few months now and I hope you guys enjoy it :)

###What’s new?

[New] Flight Status:

  • Quickly see a flight’s departure and destination airports (must have valid flight plan on Expert Server).
  • Plan ahead with ETA and distance remaining estimations based on filed flight plan (press and hold on the slider).
  • New icons to depict waypoints (Fixes/VORs) on a flight’s flight plan.

[New] Aircraft Icons:

  • Beautiful, high-resolution icons, built from the ground up.
  • Easily distinguish between different aircraft variants, from small to large jets, all the way to turboprops (exclusive to Horizon subscribers).
  • Pick out moderators and developers at a single glance.

[New] Airport Ground Charts (exclusive to Horizon subscribers):

  • Plan ahead and prepare departure/arrival gates with interactive charts.
  • Featuring accurately-depicted taxiway lines, ramps, runways and gates.
  • Find out what your local airport will look like in Infinite Flight’s global feature!

And more!

  • [New] Added a 1 Year Horizon package, available for $19.99.
  • [New] Badge to show verified IFATC controllers.
  • [Fix] Flights outside regions can be seen instantly (no need to zoom in and out like before).
  • [Fix] Flights crossing the International Date Line no longer experience strange “curves”.
  • [Improvement] Optimised animations to reduce memory/CPU footprint.

I’ll aim to bring the flight status feature over to iOS at some point soon.

Hope you guys enjoy this build! Let me know if you have any feedback :)

Hi Cam, ( @Cameron )

I currently subscribe to livelflight, is that horizon?

I work from a MacBook Pro, how can I see charts, exit.

Not being nitpicky (maybe I am), a little suggestion from me would be to make the menu automatically disappear when clicking anywhere else on the map screen instead of clicking the three lines again, unless of course if you have a reason for keeping it that way which I may not know. Awesome work yet again and splendid new release 😁

This looks fantastic.
Gotta do another flight to check it out in detail. Also runs a lot smoother, doesn’t it?

Yep - your LiveFlight subscription is called Horizon. The charts are available if you tap on an airport (whilst logged in), an “Airport Chart” button should appear:

I think it was because you’re all playing global & some testers don’t have macs.
