Flight planning

So I am planning a flight on online flight planner But there is a problem. It doesn’t say how much fuel I need. Is there a way to fix this so I know how much fuel I need?

I would usually find the route on Flightradar24 and add 30 to 40 of minutes to the flight time and the amount of fuel you’d need for taxi on top of that amount ( usually 500kg ) for most wide body jets.

I don’t use flight planner because I always end up landing with like 3 hours of fuel left

Is a super flight planner with both fuel and Step climb if you would need that.

For fuel I always go to FR24 and add 90 minutes more fuel to the flight duration. I always end up with more fuel than I need but I rather have more fuel than not enough lol😂

You need like 1:30 more (diversion, emergency, and takeoff/landing takes more fuel)

Yeh but realistcly in IF you really don’t need that much fuel

Actually that’s because the fuel burn estimate is tok high for most aircraft. It’s actually good practice now in case you run into ATC.

A simple solution to this problem is by searching in Google. For example when I want to fly from Madrid to New York i search “flight time between from Madrid to New York”. Then it immediately shows me the flight hours

try using simbrief, it’ll show you your block fuel load, and you can adjust it to compensate for fuel bias, diversion airports, and alternates
