Hi! Today before my flight I was wondering how I plan my flight Professionally. Like departure, arrival procedure. So I know what to do.
Hope you understand this question.

Hey there!
Are you talking about filing an FPL or using SID/STAR charts, or is there anything else on your mind right now? I’ll see if I can help ;)
Usually this is a good FPL generator.
It automatically generate SID and STAR
If your feeling really enthusiastic then simbreif will be for you. You can enter your aircraft registration and all small details with a very complicated load sheet.
In yellow it is the real aircraft reg from infinite flight. So very realistic. You also get a route, weights and v speeds but in a confusing layout.I personally can’t stand already-system generated flight plans. It takes away the realism from the game.
What I use is sky vector. In SkyVector you’re able to make an FPL using airways and VOR’s. Sometimes the airport might have RNAV/VOR approaches which you can automatically add into the FPL. Some of the airports give you the option to choose a SID/STAR.
Here is an example FPL I made for my flight which I’m currently doing.
If you are looking for more professional flight planners you can get forelight, however it is very expensive.
You can use SimBrief and transfer it over to FLPtoIF. You can also look up airport name then IFR charts. (Chicago O’Hare IFR charts)
That search should bring up a flight radar website and you get all the charts for that airport.
I have Foreflight just the trial version
Wait what, it’s not my birthday. Wth
It say it by your profile 😂
It might be his 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th year on the forum. It might be for his anniversary thingy
I mean dispatch does make most of the flight plans IRL as far as I am aware, with the pilots just checking it and at time doing small changes together with dispatch and hence it isn’t really unrealistic. I get what you’re saying though.
Yeah, but someone still makes the flight plan, though. 😉 I just don’t want a system to auto-generate it as it isn’t realistic.
It is, he joined last year, hence it’s the first anniversary (the information can all be found in the profile)
Yeah, I checked that out straight afterwards ;)
As I said I really understand what you’re saying. There are many ways to do it and yours isn’t bad after all, but really exact.
Ahhh, so that means I joined on this day last year
Exactly, yes.
Well, happy 1st anniversary to me. LOL
Not every times. Sometimes it is messed up. How do I get Vr for every aircraft?
Use In-flight Assistant and In-Flight Operations by John Goering. Both available on the App Store and Google Play Store.
