Flight planning in GA aircraft

Hello, first topic here. I’m just wondering if there are any good websites for flight planning short GA flights because I’m starting flight school in a week. For instance SimBrief (as a 737 fan) works very well for commercial flights and I 100% recommend but when I’m trying to do a quick Cessna 172 flight, it usually just waypoints the two airports and that’s it. Or maybe that’s how it’s supposed to be. Anyways a response would be appreciated!

skyvector.com is a go-to for IF GA and IRL flights.

Will definitely try this out. I appreciate it

You can also try navigating with VOR’s. Good luck with your flight training ;)

Skyvector is a good resource, but it’s best to let your instructor guide you and teach you what you need to know. It’s harder to unlearn bad habits you might accidentally learn yourself than it is to start from zero!
