Flight planning from the US to Venezuela

Just an FYI for flight planning purposes
If you’re flying from the US To Venezuela The FAA has put an emergency NOTAM out

“THIS NOTAM IS AN EMERGENCY ORDER” – FAA on Venezuela

At 8.30pm tonight, the FAA issued a new “Do Not Fly” instruction to US operators, barring all operations into or over Venezuela, unless operating at or above FL260, and giving a window of 48 hours to leave the country.

That because of the military coup there I’m assuming?

Yep! That’s the reason

I have to change my flight from Rio to Miami now…

You can still fly over it above FL260

Just can’t land and if you’re on the ground now you have 48 hrs to leave per the Feds

Hang on, you want people to change their flight path in a simulator due to a real life scenario, when people fly over North Korea, Area 51 and during TFR’s around launch sites during launch all the time

It’s not like I said in the very beginning for planning purposes only or anything 😒

People like to simulate real life things so trying be nice and helpful I provided information. Take it or leave it up to you…
