Heyy everyone. As an IFATC Officer i always check flight plan of the aircrafts, but whenever i fly i don’t get to see the flight plan of other pilots. It would be very benificial if pilots can see other pilots flight plans to stay clear. By doing this pilots can know what other pilots might do and can adjust there speed and altitudes according to that. The other pilots flight plan could be highlighted in some different colour. This will also help IFATC as pilots will themselves try to adjust a bit from a little far away so that when they contact approach or tower they have appropriate seperation. I want to see a visual representation of what the flight plan looks like. More specifically, which waypoints they have coming up, and not where they have already flown. Always copying other pilots flight plan mid flight is not very convinient. Hope you guys like it and support it. Thank You.
Hey! The other pilot’s flight plan is in fact visible if you tap on them and tap on the information tab. In fact, you can even copy their flight plan using the “Copy FPL” button. The other pilot’s flight path is marked on the map with a green line - and their planned path with a white line.
As a pilot, I myself use this on arrivals and approaches to view another pilot’s airspeed to adjust my speed to follow the aircraft ahead, or to view what kind of approach they are taking.
Here’s a screenshot of what I mean:
If you check again then you will notice that the green line is only for the distance travelled, afterwards they will be directly to the airport. You will not be able to see there actual flight plan left. Also it is not convinient to always copy others flight plan while you are already in a flight.

You are absolutely right. Like how atc clicks on the aircraft and the flight plan is displayed. In the same sense for pilots seeing each others flight plans.

Great idea
I personally like the idea of being able to see the full flight plan laid out on the map as well but there are a lot of people on here that are actually very sensitive about their flight plans being displayed for everyone to see. In fact, there are actually feature requests asking to hide entire flight plans from everyone but ATC for fear that other people are going to “follow them” or copy their flight plan.
I like the idea so if I’m flying closely with someone going to the same airport I know where to follow if they are ahead of me or if our arrivals will conflict.
ATC can see the flight plans. Also it is written in info so by this it can be much better and easy.
