If descend has many flight levels, what should you request to center control? I mainly requested descend to 18,000 because thats most likely when you will be switched to approach, and never had an issue but that doesn’t mean is the correct method
You simply check in. If no flight plan is in place Center will provide you with vectors if needed. Otherwise follow your flight plan as filed. If it accommodates with other planes it’s fine to descend at your discretion. If traffic not allows, center will take care. Usually they will hand over to Approach at 180FL.
well if ur flight have STAR then requesting descending via XXX STAR when before ur VNAV about to start
If i controller denied then controller give u vector with alt u need to follow that no matter wht
When you import a kml flight plan into infinite flight requesting decent via STAR ××××× option not available. Only the request descend option is available and it will force you to request to what flight level. But it seems like theres no real issue here since you correctly pointed out how a center will direct me to do lol thanks
