Flight into North Carolina!

Took the 172 from Sevierville, TN {KGKT} to Jackson County, NC {24A} today. Great chance to capture some photos as we cruised at 7,000ft over the Smoky Mountains. Long photo thread, enjoy!

Were you the Pilot?

Yes. But my instructor had the controls whenever I took a photo. If you’re worried about violations, the conditions that the flight was held under would’ve still been compliant with 14 CFR § 91.21 either way. Flight was VFR and all photos were taken during non-critical phases of flight(all in-flight pictures were taken at cruise.)

Beautiful part of the world, some nice shots there

How long have you been flying? What are your ambitions?

Thanks! I’ve only been flying since early December. Just now reached my 20th hour(the weather has been sucky lately). I’m hoping to turn my flying into a career with an airline.
