Flight Goes Wrong And Ditches In Ocean

It started with the regular flight as usual. I left my iPad running and did other things. When I got back to the iPad, my plane was out of fuel, and worse, the one point of my flight where I was in the middle of no where. I made sure I put the correct amount of fuel, but there ended up being strong headwinds that I don’t normally check for. I didn’t notice this because I wasn’t checking the iPad. Unlucky - next time use a flight planner like SimBrief which will calculate fuel needed based on winds.

Yea, most of the time I use flight aware but lately I’ve just been doing my own thing lol.

You have to be careful while doing this on the ES, you could get reported because ATC may not know why you are descending
