I noticed on IF that aircraft (ex: F-22) have a shinier or glossier paint which in real life have flat paint. If you don’t get it, use this example:
I feel this is a small feature that isn’t needed.
This doesn’t bother me at all
I think they are kinda fixing this

On the highest quality setting for aircraft, the paint is correct (matte where it’s supposed to be and glossy where it should be). At least for recent models like the C-130.
Developers have said that airplanes are less shiny in global update.
It’s not, and that’s why I made this post.
Check out the tail on the 130 under sunrise/set. On the highest setting it does look like metal/correct
Like what @King_Black said, all aircraft will look more realistic in Global. A few examples from Infinite Flight’s official Instagram:
Any of those give you proof? ;)
Good idea. This is caused of the high quality rendering that imagines them as an airliner.
Wow, looks so realistic! Much like FSX, but the terrain is 10x better.
