They improve their photos by editing them with software

Answering your question - the key to those high quality photos is:
- Fiddling with environment settings (time, date, visibility)
- Using free/drone cameras and not being afraid to zoom
- Using the screenshot feature in replay (that one you already did)
- Editing your screenshots in 3-rd party apps
Some of the common apps used are pixlr, snapseed, lightroom, picsart and built in editors in your device gallery app
