The time has come for another Flash Flight! Join us for a short hop from Edinburgh to London Gatwick, taking full advantage of the shiny new A321neo.
With such a short sector, this is the perfect opportunity to get familiar with the new aircraft while flying alongside other pilots. Although easyJet doesn’t operate this particular airframe on the route, we thought it would be a great way to log another flight in the A321neo and continue celebrating its release. We hope to see you there!
NOTE: This event is being hosted on the expert server. We ask for your full cooperation with ATC and to follow all expert server rules. Speed & altitude at your discretion.

Respect to the controllers who are already handling the heavy amount of traffic on top of another 10 to 20 aircraft arriving at the pretty much same time in an hour
I know that it’s fun event, but, I just don’t want to participate in this event, nothing else, okay? I usually don’t fly IFC events, but I still fly any kind of airport, independent of having ATC or not having ATC.
I think there’s a borderline between having fun at a packed airoort and one where its just waiting in holdings and never ending turns. Personally I think Ill avoid single runway featured airports in the future, as waiting over an hour at 7000ft can get a bit too long sometimes
