First Visit to KPSP - The H13RZ Approach

Today I put some more hours into the CL350(using the Chris Wing livery of course), with a short trip from the Jet Center in Reno to visit the 3D airport at KPSP Palm Springs for the first time.

With no winds at KPSP today, it was the perfect opportunity to shoot the H13RZ circle approach.

Here’s some shots of the approach & how it looks on the FPL(irl go-around added because it’s Cali)

Callsign: Test Flight 212DZ
Route: KRNO-KPSP
Aircraft: CL350
Server: Expert

Approaching KPSP on what is technically the right downwind for rwy 31L

Before we turn away from the airport into the left crosswind leg for rwy 13R & ready to begin the circle approach

Just skimming terrain as we circle down into the downwind leg

Continuing into the base leg

As we descend through a gap in the sloping terrain & onto the final approach

Before coming in to land

This looks like an extremely fun approach!! Great shots as well!

It is. I just VNAV/LNAV till final. I’d say it’d be more fun & challenging hand flying it & keep those altitudes, but still fun

Definitely a fun one, especially when you have a custom FPL for it

How do you make these custom FPLs?? :sob::sob:

Noooo haha. There is a site where they can make them but these are just the fpl on IF :+1:t2:

The circle approach is set

I don’t make my own but one day I will. It’s like a sky vector website or something but I can’t deal with all the numbers of latitude and longitude stuff xD

I don’t make them, I steal them from others
