This is very good for planespotting for the very first time! You can try capture the entire aircraft next time with the same shutter speed, it will still give you that fast moving affect.

Wow, that’s actually amazing! I like the panning effect and simultaneous clarity, how did you achieve that?

For these shots, you need a low shutter speed and a wide aparture to keep the aircraft in focus while the backround has that panning effect.

I just got my D7000 now I need to learn how to use it
