First attempt at photoshopping

Hey everyone! Today I flew the Infinite Flight CRJ200 from KPHX to KHOU. I’ve started to dabble a bit with photoshopping my pics after flying, and I hope everyone enjoys these! Please leave helpful critiques in the comments! I used the photoshopping tools built-in to the photos app on my 2022 Macbook Pro (13-inch).

Thanks for reading, and I hope everyone has a good day!

Those are some nice shots you got there! I recommend putting the photos through Adobe Lightroom and play around with the stuff in there. Right off the bat I can see some of the photos are over exposed (meaning that they are to bright), and some are also over or under texturized. It might be your graphics settings causing that weird multi color distortion on the night shots. Day ones look great though! I do Virtual Photography for some other video games so if you need any help my pm is always open. Happy flying!

Thanks for the tips! If I have any questions, I’ll be sure to send you a message!

As for the over-texturizing, that I was on purpose. Like I said, I’m still experimenting and playing around so I wanted to see how different texture settings would look.

Honestly, in my opinion, these shots would have looked fine with no editing at all, if anything, the editing made them look worse. That is the best part about Infinite Flight when you utilize the replay screenshot feature, and it comes out at the highest quality possible. Usually, when I take a screenshot with Infinite Flight, I look at the light against the plane and direct my shots without affecting the image.

If you really do want to get good at editing photos, do not use photoshop to start. Use Adobe Lightroom, it is the perfect tool for beginners and allows for only light adjustments.
