Finish the A350-900

The 747-8 and 8F are only in the slightest the same, they both don’t even carry the same things. They don’t have the same top deck, and totally different interiors, so you can’t really compare them to how similar the a350-900 and 1000 are. :)

Im talking about the 3D model, overall they are very different yes, but the interiors and flight deck are something that would take not as much time as a new aircraft, and im saying like the differences in the 3D model between the A350-900 and A350-1000 (Longer fuselage, new gear, slightly bigger engine, etc) is similar to the differences in the 3D model between the -8F and -8I (Shorter upper deck, new interior, Cargo doors, etc) Just see IF only adding the -8F and many will start to complain

Also one of the requests is the aileron going up and spoilers are up on the a350 that does not have it it only happens on the a320 and A380

I just realized that the stabilizer trim on the aircraft doesn’t work. How is that even possible?

If you mean stabilizer doesn’t change the angle like on 777 or newer planes, then the answer is simple: it just wasn’t possible, it appeared later only with 777 rework

The A350 should have aileron deflection while parked, roll spoilers like the A380, I mean.

It’s animations only, the 3D model itself is way too complex for a fix.

Ye but the 777 rework missed much more than the a350

Every aircraft should have roll spoilers

One note

The A350 wings are white not gray like it is right now

Thats because they’re Americans mostly,

We have zero developers or 3D artists that are American, but okay.
There’s 1 member in the team that’s American. And that would be Tyler :)

Pretty sure the 350-900 was made to IF limits at that time.

It was in December 2019, before project metal was announced, so there was still a lot of legacy code which limited some features.

That’s debatable. I believe the first implementation of Project Metal was 21.1, with 2020 being mostly the recoding work, therefore, not one, but two significantly better planes (777 and 757) were released without Metal implementation.

Not to mention the CRJ has by far the best passenger cabin of any aircraft in Infinite Flight, so surely they’d be able to do a cabin on the A350, even if it had just a few seats and no lighting, just like all of the widebodies that came after it (also, quick reminder that even the 717 has a cabin).

They might have found new ways to implement cabin interiors for wide bodies.
Or they just wanted to push out the A350 before 2020 so they didnt have a lot of time to optimize cabins for widebodies (Just a guess)

Challenger in the corner:

Good choice, but the 757 cabin is my favorite.

Also not to mention cabin isnt always about seats.

That seems to be the big problem with the A350. Some members who watched the A350 development as WIPs were shared (@BennyBoy_Alpha) said it felt like they were rushing that plane to be released in December 2019. That also explains why Infinite Flight will take as long as they need to for upcoming aircraft. If anything, the A350 is a great example of what not to do regarding a new aircraft.

It’s definitely not. That’s exactly where the CRJ takes the edge over any other aircraft in Infinite Flight: MOOD LIGHTING!

Honestly kinda harsh to call it “rushed” even though it still has a really detailed cockpit/gear and many other things. But my guess on why the 777/A350 has some innacuracies is due to the fact that RFS was starting to grow and they didnt want to lose customers, so maybe the A350 did save IF? Idk

Buddy…. Just a bit of advice. Your posts in all the “rework” threads really come across as harsh and blunt. Everyone can see you’re quite passionate about the game, but I’m willing to bet that you know little to nothing with regards to 3D modelling, animation, texturing and coding.

Request rather than demand and question the way you do. It costs nothing.

I can only feel sorry for the devs dealing with this, I myself am caught up in a similar scenario where a client from India wanted me to design an UAV model. Didn’t give me any specifications and is now requesting multiple changes because he has absolutely no idea about design. And he’s expecting me to basically re-do the whole model in a day (for something that took 2 weeks).

Once the A350F flies, my request for it will be opened.

Psst, its actually based off the A35K 🤫🤫

I think the A350 is one of the best aircraft personally bar it’s lack of cabin, hopefully in the next year we get the A350-1000 and a cabin for the 900, I think once the A320 neo is out I can see the 767 being the next aircraft for a rework

The best aircraft in terms of quality is the A380, but tbh the quality between the A380 to say the 777 is very similar, just a lack of animations and actions.
