Just out of curiosity how do the majority of you find your departure, approach, airport layout charts.

AirMate. Completely free (option for a paid version). Easy and quick account creation, too.

I use Navigraph. It is another subscription, but I personally find its worth it.

I often will just Google the charts for that airport and use whichever doesn’t have a paywall/seems most reliable.

I just subscribed recently… I’m partial to the Jeppesen formats, and it’s awesome having worldwide coverage.

VFR sectional

FlightAware for IFR plates (google “ (airport code) ifr plates” )

AirNav for airport information like frequencies and runways and stuff

For the US the official FAA Aero Data site is my preferred source.
For the rest of the world the official charts could be found by searching the country’s name and “eAIP”. For most of the world it is open data, some require a free of charge acount, those that want money are rare. A list is Is here
Beside that the Navigraph subscription is the best payed source.
