Finding a Free Camera and Trying it Out - LFPI Helicopter Spotting

Hello, IFC!

A few days ago, I walked past a box in the street that said “Needs to go”, and amongst other things was a camera!
I brought it home and it turns out it’s a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ18, a 15-year-old point and shoot.

So I thought… why not test it out with some spotting?

Here are some pics from it!

These were taken at LFPI, Paris Heliport. Half of these were taken with a Canon SX60-HS, and the other half with the panasonic.

I hope you like them

And on short final…

And two beacon shots

A… uhhh… Bell? And the Securité Civile heli in the background

A new visitor, SAMU 89, an air ambulance! :ambulance:

Here it is again, with better light

And sunbathing after a long flight!

Yes, I know, helicopters aren’t planes, but they’re also very cool!

I hope you liked these images

Have a good day!
