Finally spotting at Cardiff EGFF

Hello and welcome to my first planespotting post!
Today I made the trip up to Cardiff Airport to see 2 Ryanair 737-800’s land on runway 30 and to see the masses of British Airways heavy aircraft in storage sadly, the stored aircraft consists of 20+ 747-400’s, 3 777-200ER’s and 2 787’s. Sadly it wasn’t sunny today but there was no fog so I had a complete view of the airport. All photos were taken by me on either my iPhone XR or my Sony cybershot HX-300.
I hope you enjoy my photos!

My favourite shot of today, British airways BOAC 747-400 G-BYGC and British Airways Landor city of Swansea 747-400 G-BNLY

Were the landings hard or did Ryanair finally break the curse and butter the landings?

Surprisingly the landings were actually good I have to hand it to them

Great (but sad) pictures of the situation at Cardiff. Thanks for sharing these unique impressions!

Unfortunately this is what aviation has come to in the current sad situation and no problem :)

Wow, great pictures. I have never seen an old BA 747 livery before. Very nice :)

Thank you, I really like both of the retro livery’s and I was lucky to see them however the ops depo was blocking my shot of the other 747
