haven’t been there since ATC Came out. How’s KHAF doing?
Congrats mate! I’m one step behind you trying to get to grade 3. Just completed 17 touch and goes in 30 mins in the Cessna 208 on the casual server. 180 degree turns landing on opposite ends of the runway.
It was like a new Olympic event 😂
Great place for pattern work :)
Oh…I did it on a private airport in a private Cessna too. So just a country boy having fun with his toys 😝
Helped there was no other aircraft on the map :)
Congrats Man! It’s an honor!
Congrats! I’m still struggling to get to Grade 5! ;(
And I’m still struggling to get 50,000 XP for Expert. Just 12,000 more… it took me a month to get 38,000XP, so it’ll probably take me a week.
Now you guys discovered this method? Wow. Its one of the easiest ways to increase your xp, landings and grades. C208 is the perfect plane to do this and really tight patterns as well.
Spitfire is pretty good too, I saw Mark doing some tight patterns once in a Spitfire
The best place to do T and G is either at KEDW or KLGB. the runways are parallel so you can get an F-14 and and go a little bit and make a u-turn.
Imagine how long your downwind would be at KEDW…
If you’re on the casual server, what’s downwind ;)
I honestly just find a rural airport for my Cessna 208 jump on the casual server
and will take off for example from runway 9, with a hard right turn and then pull a 2.9G 180 degree left turn to land back on runway 34 and repeat the process and land on runway 9. So on and so forth. 1 touch and go a minute easily.
Haven’t seen Mark do them but this is what I usually do, unrealistic and very very tight. I mostly do them on casual at Denver.
Yeah, that’s why I do it on the casual server. If it works for you and you’re not upsetting anybody, then all the more power to ya I say.
