Can fighter jets takeoff at full speed & say 12000VS in civilian controlled atc airports or is this a bannable offence? Thank you :slight_smile:

Usually you would get an Aerobatic Violation. Only when near an Airport. So on takeoff, yes.

RIght, what if you just go full speed but climb normally?

You would get an overspeed vio. No more than 260 knots below 10.000ft ingame. IRL it’s usually 250 knots below 10.000ft.

The fighter jets are not subject to the automatic overspeed violations.

However, ATC can issue an excessive speed violation if they deem if necessary. The general rules are:

  • Military fighter jet aircraft must not exceed 350kts when below 10,000ft while under ATC control.
  • Should not exceed M1.0 at cruise along busy routes and in controlled airspace.
  • Maintain awareness of aircraft speeds in your vicinity and adjust accordingly. Even if you are under the speed limits mentioned above, failure to exercise separation caution can result in a violation.

Long time ago, with another old and not existing anymore profile, I did extreme flights and starts at military airports and there I didn’t get warnings or violations for aerobatics near airports.

That was specifically at ETNT - Fliegerhorst Wittmundhafen or how it’s in Infinite Flight called Fliegerhorst Wittmundhaven

That experience is like 2 years ago and I don’t know if this exception still exists and I will not try out and risk my 0 Violations record.

But as far as I remember, at normal airports there were also warnings for aerobatics over airports, before a violation gets issued, so there is enough time to abort the actions?

But have a try at this military airport, I mentioned above.

Thanks for asking before anything, i see so many people just full throttle all the way and end up getting reported for it..
