A WestJet aircraft’s wingtip struck the tail-section of a Sunwing aircraft while on the ground, resulting in the Sunwing aircraft catching fire. The Sunwing aircraft was empty at the time, and the WestJet aircraft was safely evacuated via slides at the exit. If anyone in Toronto is looking for a job, I see a couple ground crew positions opening up tomorrow…
