Well everybody, I wanted to make this post to celebrate the 767 getting reworked, so now i’m sad.
Join me for a flight today as I take FedEx 1805 Heavy from Portland to Burbank. @Prestoni summon.
We loaded up the cargo at the FedEx apron and got settled in the flight deck. About 30 minutes later, we pushed back and fired up the engines.
After getting our taxi clearance, we started the rollout to runway 10R. Got our takeoff clearance, spooled up the engines, and shot off 10R into the cold Portland air.
Climbout was smooth, and we settled into a quick climb up to FL350. Nice and quiet up there. We passed Fresno as we started our descent from FL350 down to FL310, and a couple of minutes later, we began setting up for the arrival into Burbank.
It was a windy day in Burbank, so the crosswind approach to runway 33 was in play. We made the left bank onto final over Burbank and Magnolia Blvd, keeping things steady despite the gusts.
Touchdown was smooth, and we rolled out to exit at A2. Taxied over to the FedEx ramp, cleaned up the aircraft, and ran through the final checklists.
Once everything was shut down, we stepped off as she got ready for her next leg to Memphis as FedEx 1213.
Thanks for taking a look! What do you think? Should the 767 have won the poll? I’m fuming right now—how about you? Let me know which photo was your favorite, and have a good day! Unless you voted for the 787—looking at you, @PhorzaSky jk.
