Here are my favorite routes under 1 hour:

  • Denver to Aspen (beautiful terrain and challenging airport)
  • Miami to Key West (short runway and pretty scenery)
  • Any Hawaii trans-island route (pretty scenery)
  • Seattle to Wenatchee (beautiful terrain and scenery, small airport)
  • Seattle to Redmond, Oregon (Easy flight and pretty scenery)
  • Los Angeles to San Luis Obispo (Underrated route, nice terrain, short-ish runway)
  • Vancouver to Victoria (super short flight time, turboprop plane, beautiful scenery and terrain)
  • New York City to Nantucket (cool destination)
  • Salt Lake City to Jackson Hole (stunning terrain)
  • Amsterdam to London (try flying into LCY 👀, short runway)
  • Portland to Seattle (a classic route, nice scenery)
  • Phoenix to Tucson (beautiful desert scenery)
