Favorite Engine Type

757 P&W engine.

Rode on this bird N689DL once, maybe it’s a newer engine but it sounds so amazing and slightly different than others.

Oh well. But that’s military.

What kind of engine does the A350 have?

Yeah and? The topic doesn’t specify what category we’re talking about

Yeah I know. Just pointing out that I didn’t mean that

Jstt Google it honestly.

Rolls Royce Trent XWB hence A350 XWB. XWB is an acronym for extra wide body

Still, uses the 707 engine, seems its a modified 707

We think alike. Love those big engines

GE90, Those are the ones on the 764 and 777 right

I’ve only been on 3 different aircrafts in my life, 4 if you count my early years…

First, the 737-900ER (Lion Air)
Secondly, the 777-200ER (?) (Air France)
Then, the A320 (AirAsia / Citilink)

I only flew on the 777 once, if you count a round trip as one.

So it comes down to the A320 or 737, which I think the A320 sound the best with it’s IAE V2500A5…

I love the 747-8 engine!! The sound and design of it is what makes the 747-8 special!!

The engine is a GEnx. Also used on a 787
