From March. 2024, All Nippon Airways started to put Boeing 787-10 domestic type into use. According to the Official Announcement of ANA Website, the brand-new aircrafts would mainly be put operation into Hot Domestic Routes in Japan (All depart from Tokyo Haneda) including Sapporo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Okinawa-Naha, where used to be the main stages of Boeing 777-300. My guess is that ANA might have already started to schedule the plan of falling Boeing 777-300 domestic type into disuse.
According to the information from Planesspotters.net, there are still 5 Boeing 777-300 domestic type aircrafts being used nowadays, which all produced in late 1990s. The special layout of those aircrafts makes themselves able to contain over 500 passengers per time (For the latest Boeing 787-10 jets, over 400 passengers can be contained). Although horrendous amount of passengers can be contained, the space and comfort level can still make myself satisfied even though when it comes to Economy Class. However, the experience feeling of Boeing 787-10 is totally different story. Although 4K monitors are set, the seats are too hard and the space becomes much narrower.
As the next generation of “main force”, Boeing 787-10 domestic jets have already been put into use for a while. For the elder generation, being replaced is the only destiny for them-----and it might come soon. I always imagine that if they are able to speak, what kind of words would be given to new generations from elders. Wishes? Exhortation? I wonder.
Since there’s no Boeing 777-300 model in IF, I have no choice but to use the model of ANA Boeing 777-300ER as a replacement.
