Really sad 😥😭
Nooooooooooooooo :(
Not the 717s :(
(Last landing of EI-EWI in Europe at Venice from Palermo on January 11st, will be stored in the US soon).
Volotea ended the 717 operations a few days ago. This marks the end of the Boeing 717 operations in Europe.
After Volotea retired the last 717, there will be only 3 airlines that still operate the 717:
- Delta Airlines
- Hawaiian Airlines
- QantasLink (The last 717 operator outside the U.S.)
I’m betting a certain Delta Airlines is interested in Volotea’s 717’s.
No
Or they will lease the Volotea 712s, then retire them three, four years later.
This is so sad to see. I remember seeing one of Voloteas 717’s at LEPA and it was the first and only time I’ve seen a 717. Another beautiful plane we’ve lost
They will be missed.
In contributions to the retirement of its MD-95s, they will also add five A320s in the near future, just like @JulianB said.
I was going to fly on the 717 from Palermo to Olbia in August, but then Covid hit :(
I have been on a Volotea 717!
frist time being a a Mc Donald Douglas plane
(Boeing took the plane so that is why it is boeing 717)
no, Boeing bought MD, that’s why
right right
F ( Respect )
Rip Volotea 717 :/ And just found out i even have a pic of myself with one of them years ago, feels good
Rip 🪦 Volotea 717 🙁☹️😣😖😫😩🥺😢😭
Goodbye, friend. It’ll be sad to not see any 717’s in the Volotea livery anymore. 😔
