As many of you know, the Airbus A380 update will be released soon, and therefore the old liveries will be removed. Transaero Airlines livery is one of them unfortunately, the livery of the airline which doesn’t operate anymore. So we decided to settle on an event flight from Moscow to London, so to honor the memory and say goodbye to this levery.
We want to tell you some facts about this airline:
Transaero Airlines was founded in 1990 and was one of the biggest airlines in Russia. Their fleet was vast and varied from A321 to B777 and B747. Transaero has become the first and still the only one Russian airline which tried to create the most luxurious class of service in Russia, above the business class. Now we can see something similar from Etihad Airways wich their presidential luxury on the Airbus A380. For Transaero it was the Imperial class. This was a controversial and far from ideal innovation. But the whole history of the airline is not so simple and ideal, this is what makes it special and beloved by us in comparison with other Russian airlines.
However, by 2015, Transaero became bankrupt and stopped its operations forever. And many planes were transferred from Transaero to Aeroflot and its affiliated airlines.
