Hello folks, as the time has come, it is time to heading back to St. Louis. So, I flew back to St. Louis from San Francisco via Denver on Southwest Airlines. So in this first part, Iβll be posting this first leg on Southwest Airlines Flight 2290 from San Francisco to Denver. Then the final leg will be in part 2 as Southwest Airlines Flight 899 from Denver to St. Louis. On the day of travel, I left the hotel at 8:45 AM to go to Burger King π π to grab some breakfast π₯ to eat before I headed to the airport to return the car π. After returning the car, I caught the SFO plane train π to Terminal 1 for me to check in. After receiving my boarding pass, my boarding position was A23. So I was hoping to find the seat that I wanted to sit at once I got on the plane going on this first leg. Well, two boarding pass is what I had received since I connected at Denver before heading back to St. Louis. So in the second boarding pass, my boarding position was A25. Then on Friday, I went to the movies πΏ at AMC Metreon 16 to see βThe Red Oneβ which was PG-13 as shown first in the showtimes list. I picked the one at 11:30 AM. After watching that, I went to Target to buy Chips a Hoy cookies πͺ to snack on going back to St. Louis. So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this first leg SFO-DEN.

So after getting my boarding passes, I went through security and here I am at Gate B9 SFO airport as I have boarded my flight, taking me to Denver πΊπΈ
After pushing back from Gate B9, here we are as we started taxiing to RWY 1R for departure out of SFO. So, time to say goodbye to San Francisco as I had a great time there.
Lining up RWY 1R before we took off from SFO heading to Denver πΊπΈ
And off we go as we are airborne after we lifted off RWY 1R from SFO, on our way to Denver πΊπΈ. Once again, peace out San Francisco ππΊπΈ. Iβll c ya next time.
After taking off, we banked to the right, then left, and then finally to the right, climbing over FL140, flying past Hercules California πΊπΈ. Thus, we were flying past Oakland and we could barely see the Oakland Metro Airport
Leveling off at FL390, the Southwest Airlines Flight attendants started preparing the snacks and drinks at the galley before starting to stroll the cart through the cabin to start handing out Snack Mix and beverages. So I took out my Chips a Hoy cookies πͺ as they got closer to my row. So I was handed snack mix and I got Sprite π₯€. Btw, I listened to music πΆπ±π§ during the entire flight since we tookoff. Then here we are a few minutes later flying over Milford Utah πΊπΈ after leaving the Nevada airspace.
After trash ποΈ was collected, minutes later we began our descent as we entered the Colorado airspace, flying over these mountains ποΈ at Paonia Colorado πΊπΈ before making our way onto final, aiming for RWY 34L for landing into DEN airport.
And here we are on short final RWY 34L DEN airport before we touch down into Denver International Airport
After landing, we crossed RWY 34R, before taxiing to Gate C50 for our arrival. So welcome to Denver πΊπΈ
And we have arrived at Gate C50 DEN airport. Welcome to Denver once again. So time for me to grab my stuff, deboard the plane, and head over to Gate C31 for my 2 hour layover at DEN airport before making my way back to St. Louis.
So this completes the first leg of my return to St. Louis going from San Francisco to Denver πΊπΈ. I hope you enjoyed this first leg. After that UA626 incident to where I wound up on a new flight, sitting at the left side, I sat at the right side which was where I wanted to sit at. But doesnβt matter which side to sit at as it was just a seat. No big deal. So anyways, stay tuned for my final flight to St. Louis and be safe and have a blessed day.
