Hello folks, I would like to welcome you guys to my Fall 2024 trip. On this first outbound, I flew American Airlines Flight 1502 from St. Louis to Chicago O’Hare 🇺🇸. So the day before the trip, I went over to my granddad’s house to visit. After visiting my granddad, I went and stopped by Walgreens to buy Oreo’s and Mentos gum to snack on the plane on my way to Chicago. So without further ado, I hope you enjoy this first trip.
American Airlines Flight 1502: St. Louis to Chicago 🇺🇸
Aircraft: Boeing 737-800
Origin: St. Louis Lambert Int’l Airport (KSTL)
Destination: Chicago O’Hare Int’l Airport (KORD)

After being dropped off at the airport, I went to check in, get my boarding pass, headed through security and proceeded to Gate C8 at STL airport where my plane is ready to take me on a short hop up to Chicago 🇺🇸 early this morning
As the sun rose, after boarding, we pushed back and here we are taxiing to RWY 12R for takeoff. This was before we crossed RWY 6 before entering RWY 12R before we took off
After crossing RWY 6, we hopped on and lined up RWY 12R before our takeoff roll out of STL airport
And off we go as we lifted off RWY 12R from STL as we banked to our left, departing north, en route to Chicago O’ Hare right after we lifted off the ground. C ya later 314 St. Louis 🇺🇸
During our climb out of STL, we flew over the Missouri River and the Mississippi River going northbound.
Then we leveled off at FL290 as complimentary service was served during climb before leveling off. The complimentary service included Biscoff Cookies 🍪, Pretzels 🥨, and choice of beverages. So I chose Pretzels 🥨 and Apple Juice 🧃 and had my Oreos with me. Also, I listened to music 🎧 🎶 📱 during the flight. Then upon descent, trash 🗑️ was then collected. Also, I chewed gum after that.
Then here we are approaching RWY 28C for landing at Chicago O’Hare as we banked to our right, entering left downwind RWY 28C ORD airport. Btw, on our right, we flew past Chicago Midway airport before turning base.
After turning left base, we turned onto final and here we are on short final RWY 28C before touch down at ORD airport.
And after landing at ORD airport, we vacated the runway, crossed RWY 28R and taxied to Gate H17 for our arrival. Welcome to Chicago folks. We just landed in Chicago O’Hare 🇺🇸
And here we are as we arrived at Gate H17 ORD airport. After deplaning the aircraft, I wanted to take a shot of my flight. Unfortunately, there was no good view to take a photo. So I came over to Gate H15 to get a good view of the aircraft that I flew on. So Hello Chicago 🇺🇸. Time to head on over to baggage claim 🛄 and to catch a train 🚆 to the Rental Car center 🚗 to rent a car to head to the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago O’Hare Airport 🏨 to spend a week before heading to the Big Apple 🍎🇺🇸🗽 New York.
