I can concur. I too have the same issue, for all national callsigns. I cannot type anything in at all.

iPhone 12, iOS 26.2

IF version 26.1.2 (16806)

Some callsigns have very specific formats. Some allow both letters and numbers, while others only accept one or the other, and the number of characters can vary. If the format isn’t followed exactly, it will trigger an error. That’s likely why you’re seeing the issue. Hope that helps

With all due respect, I know that. I’m pretty sure this is a bug. Have you try it tho?

I tried it again. Right now, it is an error because the format of the callsign is wrong and unsupported. In my case the call sign is supposed to be letters only, so i inputted numbers and got the error

Try input letters and we’ll see

Try letters only without any numbers

You can see i got no error with letters only

Hmmm fair. It’s a beta problem

Please make sure you’re on the right version for the conversation before trying to disprove statements!

Anyways, yes, this issue is very much present in the latest beta build, although I’m surprised it hasn’t been reported more.

Well it was nothing serious, just a mistake. I will next time

Thank you! I thought it was just me. I tried general aviation call sign input on both versions of IF all resulting in Error Code.
