A nessesety for sure!!! I’ve been waiting for an update for this for so long… it deserves respect and love. The landing gear or flaps don’t even retract correctly, no strobe lights, no cockpit animation or graphics…

We need the rework of this plane hopefully in the next update, I really wanna fly this plane, it’s one of my favorites but it’s one of the least cared about it in the game.

That picture was taken at Axalp. It’s an amazing Air Show taking place in the middle of the Swiss mountains. I visited it couple years ago. It’s basically a public training of the Swiss Air Force and one of a few air shows where they fire armed weapons in front of visitors. A great place to see the F/A 18 showing her capabilities.

I would really like to see this plane reworked soon! (Maybe a A-10 and F/A-18 rework together ;) ) If they did rework with a Blue Angels livery, it would be awesome if they labeled different jets with different tail numbers, for great formation photos!

Definitely this and the A10 are the two lowest cared for aircraft in the sim. They need a lot of work and even more love! It’s one of the most versatile fighters in the world, it’s earned its place no doubt. I’d love to see a few new liveries as well

With the CRJ now being updated, those two and the C-17 are the last couple “ultra-low” quality planes in the sim, which is amazing. Think about all the other plane models and how much they have advanced! But I’m looking forward to when they are all high quality!

I had the pleasure of spending 4 years around these things being stationed on an aircraft carrier in the Navy. These jets are cool!

The A-10 if you haven’t heard is being reworked, so the F-18 and the C-17 are left. I’m so excited! 😆

No, the A-10 is going to be reworked and it will be released with the next update. The F/A 18 stays the same for now.

The F-18 doesn’t have an autopilot. Are you talking about the f-22?

Hey PJ, you’re right the F-18 doesn’t have Auto Pilot.
Originally I was talking about the fighters in general, but since then have found out that each fighters AP has different Mach speed limits. For example the AP in the F-22 will handle higher Mach cruise speeds then the F-16
