Just a little FYI, this was not the first flight of the F-15EX line of aircraft, instead it was just the first flight of EX9. The F-15EX has been flying since 2021 and the aircraft which it is derived from (the F-15 Advanced Eagle) first flew in 2013.
EX9 is the first aircraft of F-15EX lot 2. This marks an improvement over the lot 1 generation of F-15EX aircraft, improving the lethality and flexibility of the platform.

@STL_planespotter summon he is in St Louis so he knows alot abt the F15EX
I’ve been summoned. And that is EX9, the first in like 5 years maybe. They haven’t been building the for a while while they built the f15 QA and now that most are gone they have started building them again.
