I’m 25 minutes into a flight and have burned 3200kg of fuel. This is a ridiculously high number. I’ve followed the flying guide for power settings and have not been above 86.6% N1 for take off (throttle was also reduced immediately after). I was on the ground with engines running for maybe 5 minutes so that isn’t the cause either.
ooo that worries me a little…

If you’ve used Simbrief to import your weights, there can be issues like this under some circumstances. This has been reported internally.
If the weight of fuel you import is less than the weight of fuel already on board, then the fuel used will show the difference between the two.
The current workaround is to manually adjust the fuel in your weights page, this will reset the “Fuel Used” value to 0.

Thanks - is this the same issue as when fuel used shows 0kg?

Yep!
If Fuel via Simbrief > Initially loaded fuel, Fuel Used will only start increasing once Fuel Remaining < Initially loaded fuel.

what if you make the fuel tanks 100% full and are 92% heavy what dose that do, will that increase the fuel range?
