Exploring Katmai National Park

On a flight from King Salmon, Alaska (PAKN) to Iliamna, Alaska (PAIL) I decided to take a detour to explore Katmai National Park after seeing a lake of robin-egg blue. The flight was on the Training Server in a C-208 flying at 7500 ft. Local time was around 2 PM.

  1. Glacier-fed Naknek Lake.

  1. Mount Griggs

  1. Another glacier-fed lake

  1. A U-shaped glacier-carved canyon.

I love these topics! They may not be the greatest photos, but they show something that nobody else does. You have adventure, and the desire to explore. Keep on flying, and keep on posting. We love what you bring to the IFC.

Would you mind tagging me next time you post?
