Expert Server

I would suggest brushing up on Unicom procedures as well. I find now, sadly, I hardly encounter ATC on expert server and most of my flights are conducted using Unicom.

Sometimes I get an inbound pilot requesting traffic advisories, and I’m the only aircraft on the field and I wonder “what should I tell them”…

Also if there are a number of planes around using unicom then it is great when people are considerate and listen in. Good pilots will look around and be aware, holding short for arrivals and announcing clear of runways, which helps and brings a sense of professionalism.
