If you are departing EFHK during FNF today, you better use Straight out departures as it is noted in ATIS. Or you Risk being ghosted without any warning.

Then it’s assumed you’ll be ghosted? I don’t understand the point of this when ATIS is there for a reason.

The reason is because it’s FNF and a friendly reminder is needed since obviously people are not paying attention. They don’t actually want to ghost people so a pre-emptive notice doesn’t hurt.

I’ve noticed people not only not following ATIS but ATC them self’s. (Ended up with me being struck by an aircraft… )
