I experienced the same thing when I was plane spotting at Frankfurt on an event were some planes cargo doors and passenger doors remained open even when taxing.
I keep disconnecting and reconnecting in the expert server

Hi, I am controlling a semi busy newark on expert server, and I am losing planes every 15 seconds. Is there a fix for this?
