Why do you not wait in line on the Expert Server and pass through the planes and prevent other planes from passing? This friend should be punished

Even though the photos didn’t upload properly - there’s nothing that can be done. Violations can’t be added to people’s accounts after the event. It requires ATC or a Supervisor/Moderator to be present.

This is true, but so many people get away with murder because moderators and controllers don’t catch them. I miss the days when the “report” button was active. It gave us pilots who followed the rules a chance to let moderators and controllers know that other pilots were not following the rules and making everything bad for people.

That’s…quite the accusation. Especially for a flight simulator.

And it’s a true accusation. The mods and the controllers spend plenty of time controlling high volume of incoming aircraft. This isn’t real life, so they take out their frustrations and anger on pilots and issue violations. When an airport is extremely busy, they try to ghost as many people as possible in order to keep up.

Yeah, I agree, misbehavior on the expert has gone a bit too far, but considering this is a flight sim…are you sure murder is the right word?

It’s and idiom. I’m speaking metaphorically and not figuratively.

I’m not an English expert so you do you, but let’s use some lighter vocabulary, because that isn’t exactly suited for an aviation forum.

And also, once again, I’m not an English expert (it’s my second language), but…

As an IFATC controller I let a lot of reportable events slide, assuming it didn’t disrupt another pilot, and issue warnings when possible.

I enjoy controlling, including airports with high traffic volumes. If controlling caused frustration, I’d simply not control.

Fact is, most IFATC control because they enjoy controlling. I don’t like to issue violations and it’s safe to say, many IFATC likely share this view.

If you truly believe a controller is “ghost(ing) as many people as possible in order to keep up”, please contact an IFATC supervisor or IF moderator.

With all respect, in the UK it is an extremely common phrase to use even in day to day life. Can we actually respond to the issue in question instead of pulling apart the language? It is not a swear word so why keep going on about it?

To the OP, I had this issue recently too, it seems when you critisize stupid and rude players, it is somehow turned around on to you and it is your fault, for complaining in the first place. Happened to me too! Pointless to say anything the ATC even admit here they let these behaviors go even when they see them. So what hope do the respectable paying customers actually have?

This has happend so many times to me although there is nothing we can do sadly.

This is not how we IFATC operate. You should report the controller if you think they are using reports to manage the workload.
