With expert server focus airports being so busy, why not have some sort of sequencing system where ground controllers can say taxi to runway via x, y,z number x for takeoff, assign a sequence #, or if too much workload, have the system assign automatically by taxi clearances given. ATC irl sequences aircraft for departure, why couldn’t we adapt that to fit the needs of infinite flight? This sequence number would be visible on the radar for ground and tower controllers to enforce sequencing violations. This could be a level 2 or level 3 violation.
This system could be used for airplanes coming from different terminals and different directions. So if pilots try to spawn close to the runway when there is a long queue for takeoff, ATC can say taxi via A B1 H short of D number 10 for departure(no tower frequency change given), to instruct the pilot further, ground control can issue taxi via D hold short rwy ## contact tower, which would make it super clear if the pilot forgets which sequence # they are. There could even be a button to request their sequence number, and the controller could reply with the number.
Of course there are improvements that could be made to this, but this is just the foundation of a bigger idea to better the taxi/takeoff procedures in Infinite Flight.
