Hey, so I’ve been doing this extremely long multisession since Sunday. (ATL-AMS-ICN-AMS-YVR-AMS-LAX-ANS-JNB-AMS-ATL-AMS-YVR-AMS-NBO-AMS-ACC-AMS-LAX-AMS 777W KLM) and on the 4th leg, Amsterdam to Vancouver, a few other friends came along. And ever since our descent into Vancouver, we have been experiencing lots of lag. Now I have never experienced lag on this device I have currently (IPad 10th gen) that I got in January, and it’s only crashed once. But everyone seems to be experiencing the same lag at the moment, so I’m hoping you guys can look into this. Thank you.
I would say you have your answer right here in all honesty. Nothing is intended to be up & running for this long.
I’ve done multisessions like this before, and like I said, other people are experiencing the same lag, and they’ve only joined in on one of my flights.
Have the others spawn somewhere else not in the vicinity of you and you’ll see they won’t have any issues.
Given how long you’ve been flying and with the recent server issue we had, there’s a lot of things that be causing this by having you in in their vicinity.
No one can really take any action to “fix” this since it’s a situation outside of the designed parameters.
Okay, thanks.
I’m doing multi session regularly, And as he said, a very heavy lag and FPS drop (one moment it was 0 FPS) just after the server restarted, I never experienced this and my tablet just crashed (restarted).
It’s not the first time, but I would never guess the server connectivity can impact the performance of my device
Yeah, I recently just read the announcement he made, but the lag is reducing which is good.
I understand the announcement, but what I’m asking is, is it known that we can have some performance issue because of some server access issues ?
Or it’s only a kittle proportion of players and it’s rare, because for me its every time there is a server restart, or server access loss.
I also experienced a horrible lag a few minutes after the server outage, just to find out my phone automatically restarted a few minutes later (although I have no battery issues and my phone was being charged at the time). I’m glad that I wasn’t experiencing this alone.
I’m also having lag issues when I landed an hour ago. iPad 10th Gen.
Was in the 20fps range when I can normal hit 60 (when enabled).
I have a 10th gen as well, been noticing severe lag after long hauls. Landing at 20fps is exciting. Normally I am always at 60fps.
